In order to support students with education or other needs, several specialist teachers are employed:
-
The Support Teacher (Inclusive Education) works collaboratively with the members of the school community for the benefit of students. Generally this occurs in three key areas consultancy, student support and professional practice.
-
In primary school educational psychology services are delivered to clusters of schools. The guidance counselor delivers direct services to schools providing consultancy on behaviour management, psycho-educational assessment and counseling and preventative initiatives.
-
. An ESL teacher is employed when students attend the school with no English or not enough to make learning in the classroom meaningful.
