Religious Education

School-Parish Mass: A note is going home today to the families of our Year 1 and Year 4 students regarding our next School-Parish Mass on Saturday 20th October. Our Yr 1 and 4 families are invited to take on our usual roles within the Mass, as well as reading the Prayers of the Faithful. As always, the rest of our school community is welcome to attend and participate, and all students attending this mass will have a number of chances to rehearse our song over the next week.

Parish Date Claimer: Plenary Council 2020 Information Session

Our parish has engaged Rob Cosgrove from Evangelisation Brisbane to conduct a facilitated information session to guide parishioners through the process and intentions of the Plenary Council. This information session will be held in our school hall on Saturday 27th October from 2 to 4pm. The Plenary Council will be a very significant event within the Catholic Church in Australia, with preparations beginning this year. I would encourage you to find out more at: http://plenarycouncil.catholic.org.au and come along to the Saturday information session if you can.

St Joseph’s Church is back open for business this weekend with all services returning to normal next week. Our classes heading over to mass next Thursday will be 3 Gold and 6 Gold.
