Sacramental Initiation
Supporting the Parish
In accordance with the Archdiocesan Sacramental Policy, the parish and the family are responsible for the initiation into the sacramental life of the Church.
The school plays a supportive role. It offers catechesis in the sacraments through the regular class religious education program.
The Parish of St Joseph's offers the Sacramental Preparation Program to assist parents to be actively involved in their children's final preparation for and reception of the sacraments.
This helps to shape the children's attitude to their spiritual life, to their devotion, and to their prayer life. It also develops an appreciation of their Catholic tradition by emphasizing the celebration of sacraments as both personal and communal.
Please phone the Parish office for more information on (07) 3362 8777 or visit their website here.
